Thyroid Uptake Scan

Rachel is scheduled for a thyroid uptake scan this Wednesday. This will hopefully pinpoint the exact cause of her thyroid issues. She is currently still in the hyperthyroid phase. She was hypothyroid for a few months and has converted back to the hyperthyroid phase. She is tired of the see saw of going back and forth from hypo to hyper, because both come with such different symptoms. She is currently on a beta blocker for her heart palpitations,and was taken off of the synthroid 4 weeks ago when she converted back to hyperthyroidism. I know she's just ready to get this whole thing figured out and get some definite treatment.
